New Poems!

It's me. Hi. I know it's been a while. But I knew that with patience, would come greatness. I've been very busy with classes, and I'm sorry for not updating as frequently, but that is why I'm thrilled today to share two new poems to the site! They both sprouted from the poetry writing class I'm taking. I've been using a lot of the things I've been learning and implementing them to my poetry, so I truly feel that I am growing as a poet.

Letter To Rex.

This was actually the first poem I wrote for the class. But it's gone through quite a bit of changes. It was originally full of Jurassic Park easter eggs, but after workshopping it, it changed a bit to be less specific. The prompt for this poem was to write a letter poem, and I decided to have fun with it and write to a T-Rex. I love it and I hope you do too!

I Blame Taylor Swift For My Therapy Bills

I have to confess. I wrote this last night. The idea came to me after listening to "Midnights" by you guessed it- Taylor Swift. I spent about 3 hours going through and making this as good as possible, because I'm going to be workshopping it in my class and I want to impress lol. Why would I post this before workshopping it? Well, because I simply couldn't wait to show you. If it goes through any more changes, I will absolutely update it.

As for my long anticipated story How You See The World, I have to postpone it until next year. But I do have a winter time story that I've been saving that I will be sharing with you soon.
