End Of Summer Update

Hey everyone!

I hope all is well. As summer comes to a close, I wanted to put out something real quick, cause I always love to keep you guys in the loop. 

I appreciate your patience, as I’ve been so busy with work. Plus, I really struggled with something to write for this next one. The last one was great and trying to follow that up seemed like a tall order. So rather than write a huge breakdown this time , I’d like to give you a preview of what is coming next!

I’m still writing Kelcius. We’ve hit over 100 pages now! I’m really loving this story, and it’s remarkable that I can notice a difference in how much better my writing seems when comparing this to Astrid Outdoors. Exploring a new style of writing has also been fun, and I might do a whole post just on that alone. I have also started a new short story, set within the universe of Astrid Outdoors, with the intention of potentially self publishing it when it’s ready! I want to put myself out there, and what better way to introduce my fans to that world than to give them a taste of it. I’m tempted to share a few bits of it with all these projects with you, but for now you’ll have to wait until I can decide what parts to share.

On that note….

I DO have something I’m going to put out on here next time. I don’t know what to call it though. It’s technically a short story, but it’s REALLY short. My next post is what I am calling a micro-fiction, which is like a short-short story or a proof of concept if you will. It’s proof of a really great idea, and what that idea leads to is yet to be seen. Depending on your feedback, it may end up being my next novel and I can’t wait to show you. If you aren’t subscribed, you will want to be so you can get the alert when this drops, you won’t want to miss it!  

That’s it for now! I’m just hard at work, trying to juggle everything at once. As we turn back to fall, I’ll feel more cozied up and perhaps dive more deeper into my inner creativity. But my goal is to have SOMETHING finished by the end of the year, whether it be a first draft of Kelcius, a short story that’s ready to publish, or maybe even having a book deal in progress for Astrid!
